Who is Fairfax Family PT?
Physical Therapy is a health care profession concerned with identifying and maximizing the quality of life and movement potential in individuals of all ages. Physical Therapists diagnose and treat newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities, as well as they would like, in their daily lives. Physical Therapists also work with individuals to prevent the loss of motion and mobility before it occurs by developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs. Functional movement is central to what it means to be healthy.
The mission of Fairfax Family Physical Therapy, PC is to provide our community with the highest quality physical therapy services around. Our goal is to meet the needs of the community by staying abreast of changes in the field and ongoing improvements to our services. We are committed to educating the community on injury management and prevention topics.
Fairfax Family Physical Therapy, was started in 2004 by Krystal Jenness and her daughter Melissa Laflin. The practice employs a part-time office manager Faith Dion, part-time office administrator Briana King, full-time Physical therapist and owner Krystal Jenness, PT, part-time Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer Melissa Laflin, PT, DPT, ATC. We are enjoying our new addition and aquatic center. Our patients have been pleased with how the pool has improved their speed of recovery.
