FAIRFAX FAMILY PHYSICAL THERAPY, P.C. Welcome to Fairfax Family
Physical Therapy and thank you for your interest! Our website is
still in the development process, so please visit us again soon as the
information provided will grow. If you have immediate needs or
concerns, please call the telephone number shown in the block above. Physical Therapy is a health care profession concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential in individuals of all ages. Physical Therapists diagnose and treat newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities, as well as they would like, in their daily lives. Physical Therapists also work with individuals to prevent the loss of motion and mobility before it occurs by developing fitness and wellness oriented programs. Functional movement is central to what it means to be healthy. Our approach is based on restoring proper function in terms of how the body works and moves. This includes functional based exercises, ergonomics to enhance your work place and home performance. We also offer state of the art modalities such as Low Level Laser Therapy, which is the application of red and near infra red light to improve wound and soft tissue healing, reduce inflammation and give relief to both acute and chronic pain. Our Mission: The mission of Fairfax Family Physical Therapy, PC is to provide our community with the highest quality physical therapy services around. Our goal is to meet the needs of the community by staying abreast of changes in the field and ongoing improvements to our services. We are committed to educating the community on injury management and prevention topics. History: Fairfax Family Physical Therapy, PC was started in 2004 by Krystal Jenness and her daughter Melissa Laflin.
